Lavender Mist is an abstract artwork inspired by lavender flowers and the calm, peaceful feeling I associate with them. I wanted to capture that softness without actually painting the flowers themselves, using layers of lavender purple, lilac, creamy white and small touches of warm yellow to create something dreamy, textured and full of gentle movement.

This fine art poster is created from my original painting, where I worked intuitively with color and texture, letting the different layers build on each other as I painted. I love how the finished piece feels colorful and expressive while still having a really calming presence.

I created Lavender Mist for anyone who loves colorful abstract art but wants something soft enough to live with every day. The pastel purple and lavender tones can bring color to a bedroom, living room, home office or hallway without taking over the space. I especially love it alongside Scandinavian, contemporary and eclectic interiors, or simply in a home that could use a little more color and personality.

The fine art poster is reproduced from my original painting using 12 color giclée fine art printing, which brings out the subtle variations, depth and colors of the original artwork. It is printed on smooth, matte 200 gsm FSC certified paper, giving it a beautiful, clean and glare free finish.

It is available in a variety of sizes, making it easy to find one that works for your wall and space.

Each poster is printed on demand, so rather than being produced in large quantities, your artwork is printed especially when you order it.

I hope Lavender Mist can bring a little of that lavender field feeling into your home, with calm, color and a touch of softness for your walls. 💜
