Flow No 2 is an abstract artwork inspired by the gentle rhythm that appears when movement and stillness meet. I painted the original work with soft lavender, pale lilac and fresh turquoise-blue shapes, allowing each curved form to move freely across the textured surface. The result feels playful and contemporary, yet calm enough to live with every day.

While creating Flow No 2, I was thinking about the pauses between thoughts and the way a simple change of direction can create an entirely new rhythm. The floating, wave-like forms do not follow a strict pattern; they respond to one another intuitively. For me, the painting is a reminder that flow does not have to mean constant motion—it can also mean trusting the quieter spaces in between.

I created this piece for homes that welcome color without losing a sense of softness. Its pastel purple and turquoise palette brings a fresh focal point to a living room, bedroom, hallway, nursery, home office or creative space. I especially love how it complements Scandinavian, minimalist, modern, coastal and eclectic interiors.

This canvas print is reproduced from my original textured painting on a premium 300–350 gsm cotton-polyester canvas blend. The material brings out the subtle surface, softly contrasting colors and handmade character of the original artwork. The canvas is wrapped around responsibly sourced FSC-certified wooden stretcher bars for a clean, gallery-style finish.

It is available in slim 2 cm and thick 4 cm wrapped options, with a hanging kit included. Because the composition is abstract, it can be displayed vertically or horizontally depending on your wall, your room and the feeling you want to create.
